I believe that sometimes when we feel something is missing in the world, it is our job to create it. I’m here to create a community of those who seek love and light, who resiliently pursue the best versions of themselves, and who strive to live with authenticity, connection and intention. I will share thought provoking articles and reflect on them. I will encourage deep conversation as we let the words on these pages change us. I will share uplifting affirmations, healthy recipes, and tips and tricks I come across.
I invite you to get involved. This community will be for you as much as it is for me. Show me your Brave. Be vulnerable where you are Brokenhearted. Let’s embrace our creativity, our pain, our joys, our strengths and our weaknesses. You are here to bring the good to your little corner of the world – simply by being YOU!
Please feel free to send me a message to say hi and tell me a little something about yourself! I’m excited to get to know you!
Why The Brave and Brokenhearted?
When I was thinking of a name for my blog, I wanted something that would reflect who I am and what I stand for. Brené Brown has been one of the most influential people in my life. I had tossed around other names and ideas, but when I came to the end of reading Rising Strong, the last page had words that just spoke to me – The Brave and Brokenhearted.
Who are the brave and brokenhearted? Those who get back up after they are knocked down. The ones who feel their feelings, face their fears, do the hard work, and keep on giving. The people that know the only way out is through. It’s you. And me. We know the path isn’t always easy, but it’s worth it. So, my people, here is to you.
